For as long as hash has been a “thing,” Lebanon has gained a reputation for producing high-quality hash on a global scale. Unfortunately, because cultivators are legally suppressed, hash from Lebanon is as uncommon as ever. The Bekaa Valley is the center of Lebanese agriculture and a productive location for cannabis growth. It is the source of this imported AAA+ Lebanese hash, which is purchased directly from small-batch local producers.
The way this hash is grown and then allowed to age over one or two entire seasons (4–8 months) sets it apart from other hash types. This hash is able to acquire very strong spicy and woody undertones combined with a pleasant flavor. Thanks to this maturing, or curing, process.
